Terms of use
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and David Yehuda Cardoso (Photoboo), who operates Photoboo Web (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying credits, you accept these terms.
Please read them together with our refund policy and our privacy policy.
1. The service
Photoboo Web is an AI photo booth that runs in the web browser. As the operator of an event, you use it on a touch screen, or on a computer with a camera. The AI turns your guests’ photos into styles.
You can print through the Photoboo Smart Server program on a Mac or Windows computer, let guests use their own phones through a QR code, and share the photos in an online gallery for the event.
2. Your account
You need an account with an e-mail address and a password. You must be 18 or older to open one.
Keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done with your account, including by people you let use it at your events. If someone uses your account without permission, tell us right away.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Photoboo Web to:
- upload or create illegal content;
- upload or create nudity or sexual content;
- upload photos of minors without permission from a parent or guardian;
- upload photos of people without their consent;
- break other people’s rights, such as copyright, trademarks, privacy or the right to their own image;
- attack, overload or copy the service.
We may remove content, and suspend or close an account, that breaks these rules.
4. Your guests and their consent
You are responsible for getting your guests’ consent before you photograph them, process their photos with AI, print them or put them in a gallery. For minors, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for the photos and other content you upload.
If you turn on the event group, your guests post from their own phones. You are responsible for what is posted and for moderating it; you can delete any post. Guests give their consent when they enter the event page, and the group is deleted 3 months after you close it.
For your guests’ data you are the controller and we are your processor: we use it only to run the service for you. Ask us at [email protected] for our data processing agreement.
5. Credits and payment
- You buy packs of credits and pay once for each pack. Credit packs are not a subscription.
- Optional gallery extras (more space for your galleries, your brand on the gallery, your own domain) are billed every month and renew on their own until you cancel them. You can cancel at any time; the extra stays active until the end of the month you paid for. “More time for one event” is paid once.
- Prices are shown on the pricing section and at checkout.
- Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments issues your receipt and invoice and charges any tax.
- 1 credit = 1 AI photo with Nano Banana 2 in 1K or 2K. Nano Banana 2 in 4K and Nano Banana Pro in 2K use 1.5 credits. Nano Banana Pro in 4K uses 2.5 credits.
- Your first paid purchase comes with 20 extra credits as a gift. Gift credits are used only after all your paid credits are used. If you cancel or get a refund for that purchase, in full or in part, the gift credits are removed.
- Credits are valid for 12 months from the day you buy them. The credits that expire first are used first. Expired credits can no longer be used and are not refundable.
- If a photo is not created because of an error in the service, its credits go back to your balance automatically.
- Credits are not money. They cannot be exchanged for cash, except as described in the refund policy.
6. Online galleries
Each event gallery stays online for 3 months from the day the gallery starts, or longer if you buy more time for that event. Then the gallery and its photos are deleted.
Download the photos before that. We are not responsible for photos you did not download before the gallery was deleted.
7. Who owns what
You keep the rights to the photos you upload and to the AI photos you create, as far as the law allows. You give us permission to store, process and show them only to run the service for you, for example to create the AI photo, print it and show it in your gallery.
We keep all rights to Photoboo Web: the software, the styles, the website and the Photoboo brand.
AI results vary, and similar images may be created for other people.
8. The service is provided “as is”
Photoboo Web is provided “as is” and “as available”. It depends on the internet and on outside AI providers, so there may be pauses and errors.
We do not promise that the service will always work without interruption, or how each result will look. We may change, add or remove styles and features.
9. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost income from an event, or lost photos. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we tell account holders by e-mail or on the site. If you keep using Photoboo Web after an update, you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. This does not take away the rights that consumers have under the law of the country where they live.
