Photoboo Smart Server — Privacy Policy

Photoboo Smart Server is a Windows desktop application that runs a local print server on your own computer. It receives photos over your local Wi-Fi network from a photo booth device (such as an iPad running Photoboo) and prints them as strips, grids or single prints.
1. Data we collect
We do not collect any personal data. Photoboo Smart Server has no user account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no telemetry. Nothing is transmitted to us or to any third-party server.
2. Data processed on your computer
All of the following stays on the computer where the app is installed. None of it is uploaded anywhere.
- Event photos — photos sent by the booth device over your local network are held in memory only for as long as it takes to compose and print them. The app does not save a copy of the photos to disk.
- Application log — a diagnostic log is written to
%AppData%\ImagnetPrintServer\logs\. It records server events (server started, print jobs received, printer errors) and the local network IP address of the booth device that connects. This file never leaves your computer; you may delete it at any time. - Print and revenue records — if you use the built-in finance module, print counts, paper usage, prices and event totals are stored in
%AppData%\ImagnetPrintServer\finance.json. This is business data about your own events; it contains no information about guests. - Settings and terms acceptance — your printer, layout and paper preferences, and the record that you accepted the Terms of Use, are stored under
%AppData%and%LocalAppData%.
3. Network access
- The app opens a local HTTP server on your computer so booth devices on the same network can send print jobs to it. It listens only on your local network.
- It announces itself on the local network using Bonjour / mDNS, so booth devices can discover it automatically.
- On first start it may ask for administrator permission to add a Windows Firewall rule allowing that local port. This is required for booth devices to reach the server.
- The app does not connect to the internet to send data.
4. Sharing
We do not sell, share or transfer any data, because we do not receive any. No data brokers, no advertisers, no third parties.
5. Your control
Because all data stays on your machine, you are in full control:
- Delete the log folder:

%AppData%\ImagnetPrintServer\finance.json - Uninstalling the app removes it; you may delete the folders above to remove all remaining local data.
6. Children
The app is intended for professional photo booth operators (adults). Photos printed at an event may include people of any age; those photos are controlled entirely by the operator running the event and are never stored by this app.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the "Last Updated" date above will be revised and the new version published on this page.
