Here’s the game. A virtual card pops up on the app’s screen, and the guest has to take a photo that matches it. Nothing printed, nothing to hand out. Simple rules, instant buy-in.
Tías, cousins, the damas and chambelanes — everybody gets a card on the screen, and everybody wants to pull it off. The booth stops being a corner people walk past and becomes the game the whole salón is playing.
A message for the quinceañera, or the couple
Turn the booth into a party phone, or put a second iPad in the corner as a dedicated guestbook phone. Guests pick up, hear your greeting and leave a voice message, or a video with the front camera; you choose per event. The recordings stay on the iPad, organized by event and ready to export.

Bad signal in the hall? Keep printing
If the internet drops, Photoboo queues the AI photos and switches to its traditional engine, which removes backgrounds on the iPad itself. The booth keeps shooting. Printing runs over local Wi-Fi through the free Smart Server — a simple router with no internet connection is enough. Queued AI photos upload to the online gallery when the connection is back.
Paper and margin calibration keeps prints and 2×6 strips from being cut unevenly, and on DNP and Citizen printers Photoboo waits to fill the 6×4 sheet instead of wasting half of it on a single strip.
